Handi-Foam® SR (Slow Rise) Pour-In-Place Foam is a multi-purpose slow-rise polyurethane foam. It is formulated to slowly rise and fill, insulating large enclosed spaces and deep cavities. A 2-component foam that cures tack-free in 60 to 90 sec.
.

Typical applications include:

Insulating refrigerated trailer floors and walls
• Strengthening vinyl and aluminum extensions

Filling openings in boats and pontoons

• Meets US Coast Guard Title 33 Specification (p. 183.114)
Floatation devices, dock cushioning, etc. (it floats)

(Prices are per kit a bd. ft. is 12"x12"x1")

II-100 (SR) = HF100SR - $235.00 - 8 cu. ft.

II-200 (SR) = HF200SR - $360.00 - 16 cu. ft.

II-600 (SR) = HF600SR - $700.00 - 50 cu. ft.

The average 17' set of pontoons requires one 50 and one 16 cu. ft. kit to make your pontoons impervious to leaks and improve buoyancy.

Place pontoons at 30-45 degree angle and pour foam from gun into access hole at end of pontoon. Product has delayed foaming agent and will fill pontoon. This will eliminate space for water to fill pontoon and foam floats. You should still patch cracks as they are noticed. This application prevents excess water seepage into cavity and aids in keeping pontoons at maximum buoyancy. Average 17' pontoons require one  600 and one 200 bd. ft. kit, which equals 66 cubic feet of foam.

Pricing and Ordering Information

  • The numbers after the II - corresponds to board foot yield

  • A board foot is 12" x 12"x 1" (like a floor tile 1 inch thick)

  • Example: The II-605 Kit covers 605 square feet 1" thick

  • FR = E-84 Fire Rated - SR= Slow Rise

  • The regular foam has fire retardant in it and is suitable for and approved for use as a structural insulation. The E-84 rated is for applications where code requires exposed foam meet a stricter fire rating, such as a metal building where the foam won't be covered with drywall, or around heat producing devices.

  • The 600 & 605 kits come with 8 nozzle tips. 4 cone and 4 fan spray pattern tips. You have the option to purchase additional tips in the shopping cart. We include enough for most applications unless you plan to stop and start a lot. The smaller kits come with 4 tips. Again, 2 cone and 2 fan spray tips.

  • The expansion ratio of this foam is 8:1. R-value is R-7 per inch and density is 1.75 pounds per cubic foot except for the roofing foam, which is 2.5 pounds per cubic foot density.

  • All kits come complete with hoses, gun and the tanks are pressurized. There is no need for additional equipment and they are disposable after use.

  • The SR, FR & 2.5 pound density formulas may require a 10 day lead time, depending on quantity ordered and production load.

  • Click the BUY NOW Link under the price for each kit. You can then change the quantity in the cart.

  • An average 17' pontoon set takes a 600 SR and a 200 SR to fill, seal, and float. This foam will float 60 pounds per cubic foot. There are approximately 50 cubic feet of foam in the 600 SR kit and 16 cubic feet of foam in the 200 SR kit. The 100 SR kit yields 8 cubic feet of foam.
